You search by identifier or address. The identifier has the form EKATTE.district.number; for Varna it starts with 10135. If you find an error, it is corrected with an amendment project by a licensed surveyor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"s1\">Where to check the cadastre<\/h2>\n<p>The cadastral map and registers are maintained by the Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Agency (AGKK). Online access is through KAIS, the agency's Cadastral Administrative Information System. It has a public map where you can find a property and see its main data without registering.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"s2\">How to find the property<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><b>By identifier.<\/b> The most reliable way. The identifier is shown on the sketch and often in the notarial deed.<\/li>\n<li><b>By address.<\/b> Suitable for properties in town. Outside built-up areas addresses are often missing.<\/li>\n<li><b>On the map.<\/b> Zoom in on the area and select the property.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"s3\">How to read the identifier<\/h2>\n<p>A land plot identifier has the form <b>EKATTE.cadastral district.number<\/b>. The first part is the settlement code from the Unified Classifier of Administrative-Territorial and Territorial Units (EKATTE). For the city of Varna it is 10135. Buildings have one more part after the plot number, and separate units two more: the floor and the unit number.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"s4\">What you will see<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>the boundaries of the plot and the neighbouring plots;<\/li>\n<li>the area according to the cadastral map;<\/li>\n<li>the designated use and type of permanent use;<\/li>\n<li>the buildings on the plot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ownership data in the cadastral register is not the same as ownership under your documents. The property register is kept by the Registry Agency.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"s5\">What to do if there is an error<\/h2>\n<p>The most common problems are a boundary that doesn't match the fence, a wrong area and a missing building. All of them are corrected with a cadastral map amendment project prepared by a person licensed under the Cadastre and Property Register Act. Official documents such as sketches and schemes are paid for under the agency's tariff.<\/p>\n<h3>What is EKATTE?<\/h3>\n<p>The Unified Classifier of Administrative-Territorial and Territorial Units: a coding system for settlements.
